Strict Sequencing (Combined Fragment)
Strict Sequencing (Combined Fragment)
A strict sequencing interaction operator (signified by the value of strict) defines a combined fragment where the sequence of the event occurrences must occur in the order they are defined regardless of which lifeline is involved.

Explanation

Strict sequencing is used to show that the order (sequence) of the event occurrences is significant for the duration of the fragment regardless of which lifeline is involved. The strict operator is used to define that the sequence of the operands is significant and must occur in the order described.

A combined fragment with an operator of weak sequencing (seq) is related to a combined fragment with an operator of strict sequencing (strict) because when weak sequencing applies to a single participant it is semantically equivalent to strict sequencing.
