Framework
A framework is a stereotyped package that contains elements that specify an architecture or part of an architecture that can be reused. The extent of the framework may be for an entire system or may be restricted to a part of a system.
Explanation
The framework is a stereotype package that collects together parts of a system that potentially can be reused. Typically frameworks have been used to collect design or construction elements, but they can also be used to collect other types of reusable parts of a system, such as use cases, requirements or deployment elements. Framework packages can participate in hierarchies that show different aspects of an overall framework.
