The Unified Modeling Language ® is a young language and there is much material in written
and electronic form available to the beginner and the expert. The shear quantity of this
material is sometimes enough to overwhelm the person who simply wants to understand existing
models or create her own. This section attempts to order this material in a way that makes it more accessible.
